Wonders by Paige Evans – Part 2 | Jo Boland

Hey there, it’s Jo back again with another couple of scrapbook layouts using the Paige Evans ‘Wonders’ collection. This time my layouts are focused on my garden in June, the collection colours and designs work beautifully for this.

Scrapbook Layout 1 – Daydreamer

For this layout I have used Paper 19 for the border, gutting the centre first to use another time. I trimmed a sheet of white cardstock to 11×11″ and adhered it on top after distressing its edges. Then I got to cut and fussy cut some florals from the specialty acetate sheet from the collection. I mounted my photo on foam pads and layered it on top of a tag cut from Paper 12. The acetate florals were then positioned around the photo and glued in place with Glossy Accents (strong liquid glue would work great too).

The title is from the 6×12″ Accent & Phrase Sticker sheet, as is beautiful (which refers to the garden and resting in the hammock). On top of the photo are two dimensional banners and three gold puffy hearts are placed around it.

Scrapbook Layout 2 – Hello there flowers

For the border on this layout I used Paper 5, such a lovely pink colour. Again I gutted the centre to use on another project. I cut six coloured squares from Paper 22 and used these as mats for my photos. I fussy cut two mandalas from Paper 1, cutting one into two pieces and placed them around the edge of the cardstock. My title is made up of a phrase sticker (on foam pads) and puffy word stickers. I made the word Flowers from the letters in Wonders and Selfie. I also cut little semi-circles from Paper 5 as tabs under each photo.

I’ve used puffy mandalas, gold hearts and coloured banner stickers, all from the puffy sticker pack. At the bottom is a dimensional banner placed in the centre of the fussy cut mandala. This layout was one of those that kept changing and evolving. Finally I decided to add the names of the flowers written on offcuts of cardstock. There are lots of other plants and flowers I could have chosen, so maybe a mini book would be a good idea another time.
