Wonderful | 49th & Market One Perfect Day | Emma Kate

Hey Magpies, for my final April layout I’ve decided to create a 6×8 double page spread, I love using a full page photo when choosing this format, it really makes the photo the star of the show. To compliment my photo I used a big title on the opposite page & lots of lovely ephemera from the 49th & Market ‘One Perfect Day’ collection.

For the background I used the ‘Eternity’ paper, trimming it down to 7 by 8 & 1/4 inches, as I wanted my pages to be outside the page protector (my photo being the same size). I then added my acrylic title after first backing it with the ‘Solid 4’ paper.

Next I added ephemera pieces from the ‘Laser Cut Wildflowers’ in three opposing corners thus creating the visual triangle, using foam tape in various places to add dimension. I love having the florals trimmed off at the edges, it almost feels like they are growing into the layout.

I have had so my fun using this collection, if you have any wedding photos to document new or old the subtle tones of ‘One Perfect Day’ will compliment any photo.
