Wine O Clock | Lovely Lane Paige Evans | Emma Kate

Hey Magpies, I’ve always been blown away with the hand stitched layouts Paige Evans creates so I wanted to give this technique a try. Full disclosure this page took me an awfully long time but I just love the finished result, & I’m quite happy to sit & stitch in front of the telly.

Using the ‘Brave Heart’ patterned paper & colour co-ordinating embroidery thread I stitched along the outline of each flower & leaf of the wreath using a backstitch. Once I had completed the stitching I removed the inner part of the wreath & replaced it with my large photo.

To finish I added gems & a sprinkling of Nuvo Drops. I wish you could all see this in real life because the photo’s do not do this layout justice, but all the time was definitely worth it & I would highly recommend giving it a go.
