Wild Child by Pink Paislee

Hey there Magpies, Niki here with you today with four layouts using Pink Paislee Wild Child. The fab thing about this collection is that it has two sets of embellishments – boy themed and girl themed and as I have one of each this collection was awesome for me!

I started off making this bright layout using one of the girly sheets of paper but I used it both as the border of my layout as well as back filling this lovely circle cut file that I got from Just Nick.

Then I moved ontosome of the boy themed products. I used this fantastic space scene as my background and also added another cut file by Just Nick (the stars) and I went to town on all the space themed embellishments. My boy isn’t that into space stuff yet so this was a great layout to use them on. I’ve also used one of the star tassels from the Dear Lizzy Stargazer collection.

For this layout ‘Listening Ears’ I absolutely loved the blues and greens that were in the background border paper and I followed that theme through for this layout. I pulled out all the bits that were in those colours and worked for my layout theme. ‘The Rad Cool Fresh’ bubble at the bottom is from one of the fabulous cut apart sheets in this collecton. I finished off with some sequins and also added the ‘little man’ banner at the top which is from an older Crate Paper collection that I’ve been trying to use for years!

 

For this layout ‘watch me go’ I pulled out all the red things from the collection. I’ve used another star tassel from the Dear Lizzy Stargazer collection too and enjoyed using all the bits of ephemera. Layouts like this come together and easily when all the embellishments coordinate so well! This layout was based on a sketch by Laura Rumble.
