We’ll Be Friends Forever | The House at Pooh Corner Echo Park | Emma Cove

Hey Magpies, for my final layout of August I wanted to showcase all the beautiful papers from the collection, I began with cutting ten 1×10 inch strips. I then gave each end of the strips a fishtail cut & placed them centrally across my page.

To add some texture & definition to the strips with white backgrounds I decided to hand stitch along the edges. I used 3 strands of embroidery thread in a co-ordinating colour & a back-stitch.

I backed my photo (approximately 5×6 inches) with the B side of the 3×4 journaling cards paper & placed it in the centre of my layout. Next I layered lots of the embellishments, including my title above & below my photo, these came from the ‘Titles & Phrases’ & ‘Frames & Tags’ packs.

To complete my page I added sequins, gems & Nuvo drops. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the adorable & bright collection, it’s definitely one not to be missed.
