We’ll be Friends Forever – Simple Stories – Say Cheese Classic Pooh – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here sharing my first layout for February and this month I am using the gorgeous Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collection by Simple Stories. What is not to love about Winnie the Pooh, and I’m sure he has touched most of our lives along the way.

I chose to use  12×12 Sweet as Hunny paper as my background. I matted my photo on the B side of the 12×12 Journal Elements Paper. I cut two large rectangles from the 12×12 Silly Old Bear paper. I placed the larger one check side up and added a journal strip from the Journal Elements paper. Then I added the other rectangle( opposite side up) horizontally across  the check paper to create some layers. Then I attached the photo over the top of all the layers. Then I started to embellish. I added a floral cluster and a chipboard sticker over the corner of the horizontal paper. I also added two journal pieces from the Journal Bits and Pieces. At the top of the layout I added a banner and attached a small chipboard bee.

I tucked a floral cluster under the check paper, along with a couple of tabs from the Journal Ephemera. Over the photo I added some more journal ephemera and a Piglet puffy Sticker.

I added another journal tab and floral ephemera below the photo, along with a puffy sticker bee.

Finally I added a few extra embellishments to the cluster printed on the page to add some dimension and the We’ll be Friends Forever Puffy Sticker as a title.

I have really loved using this collection and can’t wait to create my next layout.
