Vicki Boutin | Where to Next? | Part 3 | Giselle Homer

Hello Magpies,

Today I’m sharing my last layout using Vicki Boutin’s ‘Where to Next?‘ collection. There’s a lot of variety in this collection & I’ve chosen to use the softer colours for this page.

Sunny Days

I began by adding yellow ink in a circular shape using a soft blender brush & sprinkled some Nuvo Drops over that. Then I cut a seven inch circle from the Summer House paper, gluing it into place in the centre of the page.

I fussy cut some flowers adding them to the right of the circle with some pieces from the Die Cut Ephemera Icons pack

I placed the photo at an angle in the middle of the circle. My title is a cut file from from Amelia Creates which I backfilled with plain cardstock & placed below the photo, adding the word ‘France’ using Doodlebug’s Alphabet Soup Puffy Stickers.

Then I added a large die cut palm tree on the left & as a finishing touch, I made a border using thin Washi tape from my own stash.

Until next month, I hope you get lots of scrapping time.  Don’t forget to share your creations on our Facebook Page.
