Vicki Boutin | Where to Next? | Part 2 | Giselle Homer
Hello everyone,
Today I’m sharing my second layout using Vicki Boutin’s Where to Next? collection. I chose the Roundabout paper to start as I wanted to cut into all those circular ray shapes knowing they would make a great background for this particular photo!
Galaxy’s Edge
Using a scalpel I cut out nearly all the rays & trimmed them down to make the basis of my page, keeping the large circular edge of the paper to add later. I arranged them onto some navy blue cardstock, letting some overlap to add interest.
When I was happy with the placement I added some phrases from the Happy Life Chipboard Thickers pack over a few of the rays.
I placed my photo over the rays so that it looked like they were radiating outwards from behind it. And added a chipboard phrase along with the title using Doodlebugs Alphabet Soup Puffy Stickers – these are so useful because of their size & the variety of colours!
I trimmed the globe die cut from the Ephemera Icons pack & placed it above the photo with a chipboard word. To finish I added the large circle from the Roundabout paper & glued it into place. Then I splattered some white acrylic paint over the layout.
I hope you all get some time to scrapbook your holiday photos & look forward to seeing your creations on our Facebook page.
Until later in the month, happy scrapping everyone!
