Vicki Boutin | Where to Next? | Giselle Homer
Hello again Magpies,
This month I’m working with Vicki Boutin’s ‘Where to Next?’ range, which as the title suggests, is perfect for travel themed layouts. If you have summer holiday photos to scrapbook, this is the collection for you!
Where to Next?
I began my page by using the patterned paper called Passage as the base. I selected three photos, distressed the edges & backed each one with the Chronicle paper, then placed them in three corners – approximately! Using chipboard ephemera & die cuts, I embellished each photo to make three separate groups on the page.
I gave each photo a label from the Chipboard Accent Stickers pack & wrote the place names.
And I used the cute little ‘5 star review’ circles on each one, also from the Chipboard Accents Thickers.
In the fourth corner I placed the chipboard title with a couple of appropriate Die Cut Ephemera Icons. I cut three lengths of waxed string which I threaded through to the back of the layout & secured with some masking tape. I added a large brad where the strings converged above the title. Then I added gold dots at the opposite ends of the string to indicate the three places.
I’ll be back later in the month with my second travel layout, until then, happy scrapping everyone!
