Vicki Boutin – Where To Next? | Devon
Good Morning Mapies. Amy here. Today I am sharing something a little different using Vicki Boutins Where To Next collection. Its a pocket page double sided layout of our travels.
I dont know if you recall that we are trying to visit every county in the UK. I am recording this by creating a pocket page for each county. This one is for Devon…

So each pocket page in my County album follows the same format. The upper left 6×4 pocket is always the place name and county name of where we visited. In this case I used one of the 6×4 cutaparts. I placed some blue polkadot paper over the word ‘paradise’ and then used the gold foil alphas to add the details. I also used the new Bella Blvd stickers in pink which matched the sky colour well.
Next to that I place a large 6×4 photo. Sometimes I add a border to it, or stickers on top, but in this example I left it as it is.
The next row, the 3×4 pockets…The first one is always a photo of someone posting a postcard home. I usually always print this slightly smaller so I can add a coloured border. In this example ive used some of the 3×4 cut aparts. The cut apart patterned papers are perfect for pocket pages. The second 3×4 pocket always has the dates that we visited that county. In this case I used a 3×4 cut apart, a ephemera piece from the paperie pack and stamped my dates on.
The 3rd 3×4 along is always the number of the county we visited. In this case its the 12th one we have managed to visit (since 2021). I used the new Bella Blvd alpha stickers and the gold foil thickers from this collection, on top of yet another 3×4 card. The last 3×4 pocket always holds a photo.
Below that I always place the actual postcard we sent home in the lower right pocket. In the lower left pocket I usually print some very small photos and make a mini layout with them. In this example I have used a postcard ephemera pieces from the paperie pack which i thought was fitting.
On the reverse side, I always add journalling to the top right pocket, and leave the lower left pocket so you can read the postcard. The rest of the pockets are used to showcase some of my favourite photos. I always to try select a good variety of photos to show our time in that county.
I hope you liked taking a look at something a bit different. Do you ever do pocket scrapbooking?
