Hi Magpies,

Today I’m sharing the 2nd layout made with Vicki Boutin’s Print Shop collection.

For this one I concentrated mainly on the blue & yellow elements. I started the page by cutting out some navy blue cardstock hexagons in various sizes & arranged them to fit around the largest hexagon that frames my photo.

 

Once I had the position marked out I stencilled some hexagon shapes in the background.

 

I layered the hexagons with the Pattern Play paper & some die cut flowers from the Floral Ephemera pack. I also fussy cut some black outline flowers from the  floral display paper which I tucked underneath the photo.

 

There are some fun flower & leaf die cut shapes in the collection & I added some above the hexagons.

 

There are also some title die cuts in the ephemera pack & I chose one to place below my photo, finished off with a small bow from my stash. Then I lightly sprinkled some yellow paint over the whole layout – minus the photo!
