Vicki Boutin Let’s Wander Part 3 | Jo Boland

Hello there, it’s Jo back with one final project using the Vicki Boutin Let’s Wander collection from American Crafts. The idea for this layout came from the word strip ‘Sometimes all you need is a weekend and a good idea’ and the boarding pass.

This along with the Chasing Stars paper (my favourite from the collection) made me think back to a weekend spent in Glasgow. My husband and I booked tickets for a weekend away to see one of our favourite bands Del Amitri play The Barrowlands on a short reunion tour. It was a fantastic weekend and we even managed to score tickets for a second nights concert. The Barrowlands venue has illuminated stars on it’s facade, which was the reason why it made me think of it.

I used the die-cut ephemera shapes pack from the collection for the boarding pass, word strip, notepaper, vellum accents and cardstock paperclips (plane and camera).

I also used the chipboard pack for the stars and ‘weekend getaway’ tab and the cardstock sticker pack for the other two word strips.
