Vicki Boutin | Discover and Create | Part Two | Giselle Homer
Hi everyone,
Today I’m sharing another Discover & Create layout which I really enjoyed making. It’s very different to my previous pages & shows another way to use the collection.
THIS HERE (It Looks Good on You)
To start this page I lightly drew some radiating lines above where I intended to place my photo. Then I stitched some of the lines, added thin Washi tape to others & embellished them all with puffy stickers. On one sheet of paper, called Fresh Air, are some little leaves which I fussy cut & added between the lines to reflect the subject of the photo. After adding some layers behind the photo, I cut some pennant shapes & tucked them behind it.
I also added some small sun rays using a stamp from my stash with light green ink.
Below the photo I used another pennant shape with more fussy cut leaves, stickers & a puffy phrase that was really appropriate!
My title is taken from the 6 x 12 Sticker pack, which I placed on the lower left of the photo. There are so many words & phrases in this collection, that it wasn’t difficult to find yet another puffy to use as a sub-title from the Phrase & Accent Stickers!
When I was happy with the overall design I trimmed a 9″square from a sheet of All Around paper to form a frame & placed it over the layout. Then I edged the frame with Washi tape from my stash & called it done! Do take a look at this collection – it’s full of colour, patterns & ephemera!
Until next time, happy scrapping everyone.
