Using Small Embellishments To Create A 12×12 Layout | Arden Creative Studio | Emma Kate

Hey Magpies, it can be easy to overlook a product such as the ‘Ephemera Rolls’ included in the ‘Field Notes’ collection from Arden Creative Studio but you can create some wonderful layouts with them. For my page I used all 3, cutting apart the stamps & tickets along the perforated edge.

I placed them in rows on to a patterned paper background, adhering the thickest tape flush to the page but using foam adhesive for the stamps & tickets for added dimension. Next I matted my two 3×4 photos & positioned them centrally.

I embellished my page using the ‘Field Notes Laser Cuts’, the butterflies are so beautiful & florals from the Hey Little Magpie April Embellishment kit. Then using alpha stickers from my stash I added my title, split above & below my paper roll background to balance the page.
To finish I added a flourish of sequins & gems. Even the smallest bits of ephemera like the paper rolls can still create a 12×12 layout, why not give it a try.
