Using Lots Of Layered Elements To Create A Scrapbook Page | Pinkfresh Studio – Paige Evans, Elle’s Studio | Emma Kate

Hey Magpies, gathering lots of little elements to create a layered clustered is a great way to embellish any page, I have taken bits from the ‘Crafted Moments’ collection by Pinkfresh Studio – Paige Evans & used some awesome stamps from Elle’s Studio. I began my cluster by stamping a pennant shaped stamp from the Elle’s Studio Large Badges Stamp Set, choosing a colour that would compliment the ‘Enjoy The Pause’ patterned paper that I used for my opposite page.

From that stamp I anchored the rest of my cluster, first a cardstock sticker tag which I intertwined with a floral ephemera piece, I then stamped the month of May onto some clear sticker paper using the ‘Sam Alphabet Stamp’ from Elle’s Studio, which I placed overlapping the tag. For my right-hand page I opted for a grid design, the photo’s are a little over 2×3 inches, the typed word strips are the ‘Courier New’ font in Word.

The top right section of the grid was created by a ‘Cardstock Sticker’ frame & another floral, I placed it so that the leaves go beyond the edge of the frame, like the floral is emerging from within. I wanted the frame to be the same size as my photos so I had to trim it a little, this gave me a tiny strip which I was able to add to my cluster & bring both pages together as a cohesive design.

To finish I stamped ‘the story of today’ using the Elle’s Studio ‘Springtime Tabs’ stamp set, I felt like my cluster needed a little bit of black to echo my journalling. I think we all forget to make the most of our stash, see how many elements you can use in one cluster!
