Using A Stamp Set To Create A Scrapbook Layout | Echo Park | Emma Kate

Hey Magpies, stamp sets are great value for money as they can be used time & time again. Using the Echo Park, ‘Telling Our Story Documenting Stamp Set’ I created a fun background by repeat stamping the notepad & postage stamp stamp onto patterned paper from the same collection & fussy cutting them out.

To start my background I covered my white cardstock in clear gesso & once completely dry I used the packaging technique to add colour. The colours I used were ‘Scattered Scraw’, ‘Saltwater Taffy’, ‘Barn Door’, Cracked Pistachio’ & ‘Tumbled Glass’ all in Distress Oxide Inks.

I then went back in with the the three heart stamp & stamped over the top in the same colours. I arranged my fussy cut stamped images on to my background trying my best not to have the same patterned paper next to each other.

I placed my 4×6 photo backed with patterned paper at the centre of my page with foam adhesive. My title was cut from the 6×6 pad of the same collection & placed just underneath the photo.

To finish I did some ink splatters & a sprinkle of gems & sequins. Repeat stamping, why not give it a try!

Until next time, much love,

Em xxx
