Turn the Page by Paige Evans
Hey there Magpies! Niki here today with four layouts using the new Paige Evans ‘Turn the Page’ collection. I’m a big fan of Paige and her scrapbooking style so it’s no surprise that I love her paper collections too, and Turn the Page is no exception.
I started with that sheet of stars – I loved this paper so much and knew immediatly that I wanted to fussy cut all those stars and use them on a layout about my boy. I gutted the middle of the paper so I had the outside of the sheet in-tact and then fussy cut all the stars from the gutted piece. I arranged them with a circle star cut file (free from Paper Issues) onto my layout all raised on foam pads. I used the stamps to stamp stars onto the layout too and added ephemera, chipboard stickers, stickers from the sticker book and also used the Thickers from the collection to add my title. I also added machine stitching to the sides of my layout.
For Dance with Fairies, I used a cut file called ‘Fall Frame’ by Just Nick which I cut in a large size. I filled all the leaves with floral paper and added water colour paint under the frame. I attached the frame raised on foam pads and slotted in lots of floral ephemera and stickers. I added my title using the Thickers in the collection and machine stitched through these to keep them in place. I also added stamped leaves and flowers using the Acrylic stamps also from the Turn the Page collection.
For this next layout I used one of Paige’s cut files that are available in the Silhouette Design Store. I cut it from that very beautiful floral paper and added it to my layout raised on foam pads. I added handstitching around the right side of the heart and machine stitching around the border of the layout. I embellished the layout using the chipboard stickers, emhemera, puffy stickers and fussy cut butterflies.
And my final layout using this collection is ‘Everyday Moments’ also using one of Paige’s cut files. I filled the flowers in the cut file with floral paper and then added lots and lots of floral chipboard stickers, floral empehera etc – basically anything floral I could find!
