Totally Wild with Shimelle Field Trip | Niki Rowland
Hi everyone, Niki back with you again today with two more layouts using Shimelle Field Trip collection. We have recently been to a Dinosaur Afternoon Tea and Dino Trail, as well as a trip to the National History Museum, so this collection has been perfect for me!
For my first layout today I have used the paper with those dashes all over them – they are in rough circle shapes. I cut them out and positioned them all over my layout. I used them as a place for put my photos and embellishments. I added lots of ephemera and a few layers of patterned paper.
I added a few acrylic Bramble Fox Perspextives, some paint splatters and sequins. I also added my title in those fabulous Shimelle Field Trip Thickers…were you as surprised as me to find a different colour on the back??
For my second layout I went totally wild with those dinosaur skeletons. I fussy cut these out of one of the papers.
I used strips of patterned paper to create a base for my photo cluster. I added lots of ephemera over on the right side, including a ‘Museum of Natural History’ library card, of course.
For my title, the word ‘wild’ was cut from one of the papers. I used the red Thickers for the word ‘totally’ for a multi coloured title. I added little enamel dots and stars and wonky circles cut from another of the 12×12 papers, and lots of sequins.
This layout is a little crazy but I absolutely love how it turned out, there are so many things to look at!
Thanks so much for joining me today, make sure you pick up some of Shimelle Field Trip to have fun with xx
Happy scrapping xxx
