These Days – Cocoa Vanilla Studio | Sheena Rowlands
Hi there Magpies, Sheena here again x
Today I’m sharing with you 2 layouts featuring the lovely These Days collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio. If you haven’t already seen this range I would would recommend you check it out as the colour combo is just lovely.
Always Happy.
Have you seen our monthly challenge set by my team mate Wendy, over on the blog and on our Facebook group?
I love a recipe challenge so I just had to give it a go. Starting with These Days – Neighbourhood patterned paper as by base, I then chose a couple more papers from the 6×8 paper pad to layer below my photos with a few These Days pocket cards tucked in with all the edges distressed.
From the These Days – Take Flight paper I fussy cut a few butterflies and added these and some flowers from the die cut ephemera set around my photos. My large title came from the Foam Title Stickers pack. I added a little pale green paint around mt photo cluster and added some splatters on the background too.
Home Work.
My second layout was inspired by the typewriter and book ephemera, to document my daughters latest academic adventure.
Using papers from the These Days 6×8 pad and even the cover I created 3 large tags. On to these I layered some pocket cards and die cut frame. I embellished them each, working on them one at a time with die cuts, puffy stickers, ribbon and stickers.
my title was created using a die cut and the These Days mini puffy alphas matted on card & fussy cut out. I added a little journalling to the last tag before adhering them down with foam pads to the background paper – Pretty Posies then adding some white splatters to finish.
I hope these layouts provide some inspiration to check out this range. We also love it when you share your creations with us over on our Facebook page and don’t forget the monthly challenge too.
Till next time x
