The Good Ol’ Days | Julie Taylor
Hi Magpies, I’m back today sharing 2 layouts using Fancy Pants Good Ol’ Days collection. This is a relativity small collection, only 6 double sided papers & a few embellishment packs but boy did I LOVE it!!! The colours are gorgeous, rich reds & turquoise with neutrals of woodgrain & map paper. & that embellishment die cut pack is PACKED!!!!! I used loads & still have lots left.
Apple of my Eye
I chose the Memories paper as the background for my first layout & added some inks, through a stencil, some splatters & a few stamped images.
I then started layering up all the embellishments, coming down from the top of the page.
I did some die cutting & added a few tags & lace from my stash.
For the title, I copied a saying off the Memories paper & fussy cut out the word ‘apple’ & used some alphas, out my stash, to make up the rest.
Friends rock the world
On my second layout, I again added some inks but this time through a large map stencil onto the Mcintosh paper & carefully drew around it with a fine black pen.
I ripped a chunk off the bottom, & curled the edges, layering it up with ripped & curled Measured paper & finishing with Nostalgia paper.
I added my photo, onto a couple of cut parts from the Memories paper & distressed the edges. I them added it to the right hand side of the map & added embellishments & my title around it.
My second embellishment cluster is down the bottom left, under the ripped edges, where I grouped some twine, lots from the die cut ephemera pack & one of the silicone shapes.
Thanks for joining me today
until next time, happy scrapping
