The Best Days … – Amy Tangerine – Picnic in the Park – Wendy Meffan

Hi Magpies!, hope you’ve all recovered from NSD over the weekend. I’m sharing a LO using Amy Tangerine’s Picnic in the Park Collection today and am using a gorgeous cut file from Cut to You.

Once again this collection has shown how versatile it is and is a completely different colour scheme to my previous LO. It is so sunny and bright its been perfect for scrapping my Australian holiday earlier this year.

First I backed the cut file with the 12×12 Blossom Bouquet paper and then gutted the 12×12 Sweet Treat paper before using it to create the border. I added a sheet of white cardstock and then used the other side of Sweet treat as another background piece to mount the cut file on.

I added the photos and decided I needed a bit more colour in the LO so added a frame from the ephemera pack which brought in the colour from the sea. I then added little clusters of embellishments using foam phrase thickers, stickers from the sticker book, Die cut ephemera and shaker stickers.

I used Caribbean Ocean Nuvo Crystal drops all around the edge of the white card again to bring in a splash of colour.

I added the Bramble Fox bikini perspextive as it was the perfect colour matching my bikini!

I love this LO as it reminds me of our fantastic trip and how lucky I was to get away just before our world changed so dramatically.

I hope you are enjoying a bit more time to scrap for those who arn’t working or home schooling, it is such a blessing to have a hobby like this when days can be long .
