Symbolica at Night – Crate Paper – Moonlight Magic
Hello Magpies. Amy here today with a layout using Crate Paper’s Moonlight Magic collection. Have you checked it out yet?
Symbolica at Night
For this layout I’ve picked out the purples, pinks and blues from the collection. This choice was inspired by my photo and I just love how they work together.
I started by using the paper called “Moon and Stars” which is a black patterned paper with stars as my background. I added two fairly large pieces of the “Pixie Dust” striped paper to the top and bottom. I cut the pieces so they contained the colours I wanted.
I then cut up a second sheet of the paper called “Moon and Stars“, which has lots of different sections on the opposite side to the one with the stars.. Again I picked the pieces because of their colour and created a layered pile in the centre of my layout. I cut out a star shape of the light blue papers. On to this layered paper pile I added my photo.
I had fun embellishing the page with lots of the stickers. I added butterflies and stars and used the purple fairy to place on top of my die cut star. I added banner pieces, on to which I added the date. I added my title using Doodlebugs alpha stickers in colours that matches perfectly.
To finish the layout, I added a matching cluster to the lower right of the page, adding a fairy and a phrase. This was then compiled by adding a gorgeous wax seal on top of a bundle of thread.
Thanks for taking a look at my layout.
