Sweet Talk – Simple Stories – Emilie Chamel

Hi everybody, Emilie here with two brand-new projects! This month I decided to re-visit one of my favourite collection of the year so far: Sweet Talk by Simple Stories

What is there not to love with pink, red and blues mixed together?! It has to be on e of my favourite colour combination of all time!

Don’t be afraid to use “themed” collections out of their context. This one is aimed at Valentine’s day and yet works very well with photos of Sophia!

Curling the edge of the patterned paper is one of my favourite technique lately. It adds drama and texture very easily!

Mixing chipboards, puffy stickers, stickers and washi tapes is a great way to play with dimension and textures!

The finishing touch of the sticky brads is all the bling this layout needed!

 

Forever & Ever loved to the moon and back

For this layout I decided to let the bold patterns do the work.

I chose big pieces of patterned paper out of the main colours of the collection and stitched them to white cardstock.

It was then very easy to decorate with brads, chipboards and foam stickers.
