Sunshine Treat | Julie Taylor

Hello Magpies.

Julie back with you again sharing another layout using the lovely Pinkfresh Studio Sunshine on my Mind collection.

I started this layout by cutting 5 pieces of patterned paper, from the 6×6 paper pad & die cutting the word ‘treat’ using some alphabet dies from my stash & I backed them in corresponding patterns. I offered these up on my page & did a bit of background inking, again in corresponding colours of oxide inks using the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Brushstrokes stamp, which gave me more control of where I was adding the ink.

I cut a piece of patterned paper to add over the top of the letters to add my photos onto. I punched a couple of scallop borders & set them at the top adding a bit of stitching for added texture.

I matted my 2 photos & put them either side of a card from the journalling bits pack which I’d threaded with some buttons at the base. I added a small cluster, on the left of the photo, adding in puffy stickers, a JD3D wood circle & a suede smily face & added a smiley face embroidered tab over on the right to balance it out.

I used the sunshine word, off the puffy sticker sheet to make up the rest of my title, & finished with some of the new matt enamel dots.

Thanks for joining me today.

Until next time,
