Sunkissed again | Cocoa Vanilla Studio | Sheena Rowlands
Hi there Magpies, Sheena here again x
Today I am sharing with you 2 more layouts using the wonderful Cocoa Vanilla Studio – Sunkissed collection with it’s lovely summery colours to scrap a few holiday photos from a few years ago.
Fun in the Sun.
I used the Sunkissed – Feelin’ Fine as the base for this layout. I cut up the Fun in the Sun cut apart sheet and used 4 of the cards on this page, using 2 of them to hold photos from a trip to the Gold Coast of Australia in 2012.
I used stickers, die cuts and ephemera to complete the loose grid shape, using lots of the fun shapes in this collection including fruit, cocktails and palm trees. I hand sewed on some of these to add some texture. I finished with some Sunkissed puffy stickers and small phrase stickers.
For my last layout I focused on this months Hey Little Magpie sketch challenge set by team mate Emilie. I loved the look of the sketch and thought I would give it a go. The challenge runs to the end of this month & there is a random winner picked from the album on our Facebook group.
Sweet Summer Fruity Fun.
I noticed that were lots of melon icons in this Sunkissed collection and they inspired me to dig out these photos of my children from 2008!!
Using the Feeling Fine patterned paper as my base, I gutted out the centre square, turning it over and matting it onto 2 coloured cardstocks before sticking it back down. I used white and green cardstock to echo the watermelons.
I added 3 photos to echo the placements on the sketch and then embellished them with summery die cuts. The long title was created using the Sunkissed Gold Glitter Foam Title Stickers, die cut letters and a pennant from the cut apart sheet. I used a watermelon slice to hold my journalling.
I hope these pages provide some inspiration to use this lovely Cocoa Vanilla Sunkissed collection. Do share with over on our Facebook group what you make & have a go with this fun sketch too.
Till next time x
