Summer Vacay – Pinkfresh Studio – Sunshine on My Mind – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here again sharing my second layout  for September using Pinkfresh Studio Sunshine on My Mind Collection. Another gorgeous collection full of bright colours perfect for those Summer photos.

I chose my photo as the colours were a perfect match to the colours in the collection! I decided to make my photo square to be the central focus of the layout. The 12×12 Off the Grid paper caught my eye and I decided to cut up a few of the tabs, which I distressed the edges of and arranged them vertically across the page, either side of the photo. The Love This Moment journalling card from the Journalling Bits pack was a perfect mat for my photo. Using the fruits from the 12 x12 Sun and Fun paper I fussy cut a selection of them and tucked them in around the vertical tabs.

Along side this I used some of the Floral Ephemera to embellish around the photo.  I also created a small tag which I tucked under the top of the photo and added a bow in waxed string.

Having created this centre spread I realised the rest of the layout was bare! I chose to use the 12×12 Golden hour paper and the B side from the 12×12 Sun and Fun paper. I tore off a large curved piece from each paper and attached them at the top and bottom of the layout. I used sticky fixers along the torn edges and roughed the edges. Using puffy stickers and floral ephemera I created a cluster on each piece to give some more dimension. and texture.

I love how this layout turned out, and how well it all co ordinates together.
