Summer – Simple Stories – Retro Summer – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone ! It’s Wendy here sharing my second August layout using Simple Stories Retro Summer Collection. I have used a completely different colour combination to my previous layuot to show how versatile this collection is.

I started by choosing to use  square photo and then chose two of the 4×4 tiles from the 12×12 4×4 Elements sheet. I added the Summer sticker from the 12×12 sticker sheet and then made a cluster using die cut leaves I created along with some fussy cut signs from the 12×12 Summer Break paper. I added a couple more stickers and a decorative brad.

Above the photo I used three tags from the 12×12 Tag Elements paper, I distressed the edges from all the fussy cut pieces I used. To the left of the tags i added a few die cut leaves and another fussy cut sign. I added the banner to the top corner from the Bits and Pieces pack.

To the right of the tags I tucked in some more of the Die Cut Bits and Pieces and a sticker from the sticker sheet.

Finally I added a few extra stickers and brads to the layout and used picked raspberry distress oxide for splatters across the layout.
