Summer In Padstow – Echo Park – Summer Vibes – Wendy Meffan

, It’s Wendy here and I’m still documenting some Summer photos using Echo Park Summer Vibes Collection. It is perfect for our Cornwall camping trip.

 

I used one of the 12×12 papers from the collection pack and created a large vertical panel just off centre down the page. I then added two torn strips of contrasting paper under each side of the the panel. I roughed the edges of the torn strips. I then machine stitched over the panel to give some texture to the layout. I matted my photo and placed it centrally on sticky fixers on the layout. I tucked some of the Frames and Tags ephemera under the top of the photo and also to the right side. I added some chipboard elements to embellish over the right along with a card stock sticker and a couple of decorative brads.

To the left of the photo I used more cardstock stickers and chipboard stickers to create another cluster, along with some decorative brads.

At the top of the layout I created a small pennant which I machine stitched around and then used a frame from the Frames and tags ephemera. I cut it in half and attached it either side of the pennant. I then added some chipboard and a decorative brad.

This layout came together quite quickly as the ephemera and chipboard all go together so well .
