Storybook Inserts for the Heidi Swapp Planner
Hi everyone I hope you have had a good month and you are looking forward to the Scrapbooking fun here on the blog and Facebook group for National Scrapbooking Day. It will all be kicking off tonight so come back and check the blog later.
This month I am sharing more of documenting within my Heidi Swapp Fresh Start Planner. I am still really enjoying the format of this planner for documenting, and this month I am also using one of the accessories Heidi has made to go with the planner, the Storybook Inserts.
First up I want to share my February planner pages with you. I have used a mixture of supplies, but especially stickers from the many available in the shop. If you have stocked up in the recent promotion, you hopefully have plenty to play with. I have also used stamps from MAMBI to help document my month, they are the perfect size.
I am using a mixture of stamps and small tile stickers to date my planner pages.
The Heidi Swapp Story Book Inserts are great little booklets that fit in to the planner. They are the same paper as the planner and take watercolour well, which is something I have enjoyed adding to my spreads. They come in a pack of 3, so plenty of special events can still be captured.
I was lucky to have a few days away in Italy, normally this would be documented in a separate mini album. But with 3 trips from last year still not complete, I decided this would be a great way to document the trip.
I did keep this pretty simple, with the photos taking up most of the room. I have a few blank pages as my printer decided to run out of ink when making this book, and the replacement is yet to arrive.
I used a variety of the American Crafts sticker books, and I really like the clear stickers on the page, and the effect it gives.
I am going to use a couple of my favourite photo in the main planner to document this trip, with the insert in the middle of the week.
I have really enjoyed sharing my planner with you this month and this is definitely the quickest I have documented a trip.
I hope you all find time to take part in some of the challenges this weekend, and I look forward to seeing you over on the Facebook Group.
