Starlight Dreams | Part Two | 49 and Market | Giselle Homer

Hello Magpies!

Here’s my next layout using the Starlight Dreams collection from 49 & Market. I thought I would step away from the baby theme with the one & record a recent family trip to Star Wars at Disney World. The colour combination worked well with the photo & the theme!

FAMILY FUN

I began by tearing a piece of the ‘Serene’ paper in half which I glued to the lower edge of the ‘Solids 3’ paper to form my base.

I layered the back of the photo with a few pieces from the collection, distressed the edges & glued it into place. Using a die from Hey Little Magpie, I cut some grid pieces to place on either side of the photo.

Then I took two die cuts from the collection & placed them horizontally along the torn edges. The small stars are from my own stash.

Then I added a planet die cut encircled by a cog shaped die cut from Hey Little Magpie. The sparkly star is from the January Embellishment Kit.

The acrylic title is from JD3D Print which I coloured with alcohol ink to match my layout. A few more cog shaped die cuts in different colours finished off the lower part off the page.
