Splendid Weekend – Heidi Swapp – Sun Chaser Collection 2 – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy back again with another layout using the gorgeous Sun Chaser Collection by Heidi Swapp. Over International Scrapbooking weekend I went to a friend’s to scrapbook and noticed from our photos that the tablecloth when we had dinner was a perfect match for the colours in this collection! I then was able to coordinate the whole layout!

I really loved the 12×12 Be Bold paper and contemplated using it whole but found I couldn’t make it work so  instead I tore it into pieces to show all of the design on it and used it as a triple border at the bottom of the page. I then used the 12×12 Sun and Fun cut apart sheet and cut all up and used the tags to mat behind my photo. I distressed their edges and tucked them behind on sticky fixers. I also used some of the tags from the Ephemera with Rose Gold foil to tuck behind. I added other pieces from the ephemera pack and puffy sticker sheet around the photo to embellish.

I added Splended Weekend from the Puffy Phrase Thickers to the left of the photo and outlined the letters in white.

I then moved to the top of the layout and decided to create a cluster to the top left as I had positioned the main photo cluster to the lower right of the layout. I cut two strips, one from the 12×12 Happy Place paper and one from the 12×12 Be Bold paper and then added elements from the ephemera pack and Sun and Fun 12×12 paper. I distressed all the edges again and attached each piece with sticky fixers. I added a few more puffy stickers and then used rose gold ink splatters over the layout.
