Somedays, Pinkfresh Studio | Julie Taylor
Hi Magpies, Julie back with you again today, sharing 2 layouts using one of the new Pinkfresh Studio collections, Some Days. It’s a lovely collection with great bright colours & Pinkfresh’s fabulous graphic style.
My first layout is using this photo of my youngest daughter trying to stop me taking more photos of her!!! I added a strip of black acrylic paint, towards the top, along with some ink through a stencil in blue & yellow & a few black splatters.
I stitched my title over the black paint using yellow thread. I then added my photo cluster below the title, layering up die cuts & fussy cut elements out the papers. There are so many embellishment packs that you are truly spoilt for choice.
I added some stamping around the page, that highlighted the message from my photo.
& some die cut brackets & doodled circles to bring attention to my title.
Loving It, snapshot of TODAY
My second layout looks the polar opposite of the 1st one & looks like it comes from a completely different collection, but it’s not!! There’s a full pack of gorgeous flowers & lemons that inspired this layout.
I started by cutting some long strips & sewing them together, with some trims & adding some smooched inks along that vertical line & some subtle inking.
I added my photos, centrally, on the strips & added the flower clusters to either side, adding lots of foam tape for dimension.
I added a small cluster, over to the left, to balance out the layout.
It amazed me how different the layouts turned out with this collection but I love both of them. I’ll be back later in the month with 2 more layouts using this collection,
Until next time,
