Snapshots of Our Life – Echo Park – Telling Our Story – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s a new month and I am using Echo Park Telling our Story Collection. It is a very bright and vibrant collection with gorgeous colours and lovely word sentiments. It is perfect for documenting family memories and favourite photos.

I decided to create a mixd media background using Scattered Straw distress oxide and the packaging technique. I chose four of the 12×12 papers from the collection and punched four tabs using a tab punch. I matted my photo and positioned it centrally. I embellished the tags using stickers from the sticker book, puffy stickers, element stickers and twine. I placed two each side of the photo.

Under the photo I added a chipboard accent and then fussy cut some flowers from the 12×12 papers.

Above the photo I used the new Hey Little Magpie Bumpy Border dies and cut two strips. I angled them across the top of the photo and added the large Snapshots of Our Life sticker as the main title of the layout. I tucked in some sticker flowers and a type writer sticker.

At the bottom of the page I added a long tab strip and added some fussy cut flowers ad a word phrase.
