Smile – Pinkfresh Studio – Flower Market/Spring Vibes Collections – Wendy Meffan

Hi Everyone! It’s Wendy here sharing my first layout for April using a combination of Pinkfresh Studio Spring Vibes and Flower Market Collections. These two collections compliment each other so beautifully, their elements can be mixed and matched.

I used the 12×12 Wildflower paper from Spring Vibes Collection as my back round. I fussy cut the diamonds from the pink grid and then used the pink grid as a base. I chain stitched around some of the grid to create some texture. Then  I used some of the cut out diamond shapes, distressed their edges and then replaced them on the grid raised on sticky fixers.

I mounted my photo on sticky fixers and attached it centrally, then created an embellishment cluster to the left and a few extra pieces underneath using the Layered stickers, floral ephemera and ephemera pack.

I created another embellishment cluster to the bottom left of the layout using the ephemera and floral ephemera again.

To balance the layout I created a third cluster above the photo and used the Velum Smile as a title.

I was pleased with how the layout turned out and felt it didn’t need any extra paint or mixed media, I don’t always find diamond shapes on papers easy to use so was happy with cutting the paper up and using part of it.
