A Cozy Day in Lapland UK with Simple Stories Simple Vintage Flannel Season Collection
There’s something truly magical about a day at Lapland UK, especially when you can bring those warm memories to life in a scrapbook. This year, I decided to document our winter adventure using the Simple Stories Simple Vintage Flannel Season collection — and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
Back home, I wanted my scrapbook pages to feel as cozy as the day itself. The rich plaid patterns, soft neutrals, and warm colours in the Flannel Season papers reminded me of snuggly scarves and hot cocoa by the fire. I layered torn pieces of plaid paper with distressed edges, tucked in bits of ephemera, and added some mixed media for texture & interest. The Foam stickers teamed with a wood word gave me the perfect title.
I also loved using the floral bits to add a secondary cluster below the photos, under the torn papers. This was the perfect place to add in another wood piece from the Autumn Type set & some seed beads.
This layout ended up being one of my favorites — full of warmth, laughter, and holiday magic. If you’re documenting your own festive adventure this season, the Simple Vintage Flannel Season collection adds just the right touch of nostalgia and coziness to every page.
