This is my third layout featuring the Vintage Junk Drawer collection from Simple Stories. The elements & papers are just right for scrapbooking photos that you might be taking right now. Or even summer photos from previous years if you’re playing catch up! I am…!
MOMENTS
I started by trimming a ledger paper to 11″ square, distressed the edges & drew a border around it. Then I backed it with a sheet of dark yellow paper from my stash.
I cut 3 tags from the Tag Elements paper & used 4 strands of embroidery floss to thread through them. I backed my photo with a piece from the Small Things paper, glued it into place & tucked the tags behind it at the top. The photo measures 5″ x 2.5″
The 12′ x 12″ Cardstock Sticker sheet has lots of different ephemera to choose from. So I took the key with the butterfly & a clock to add to the right side of the page, with leaves from the Floral Bits pack.
On the left I chose a flower die cut, with some extra leaves, to pop into the corner of the photo. The acrylic heart & the two woven flowers are from Hey Little Magpie’s March Embellishment Kit. Finally I took the title from the sticker sheet & placed it below the photo.
