Hi there Magpies, Sheena here again x

I was so thrilled when this range came into Hey Little Magpie as I’d been waiting for it. I certainly wasn’t disappointed its so lovely in real life.

Wonderful Times.

For my first layout I used one of the papers from the 12×12 basics kit as my background and drew a rough circle on to it. Using the Branch and Butterfly stencil and four shades of green distress ink I added greenery around this circle in different directions and colours.

I machine sewed around the circles a few times with variegated thread. Then I went through the die cut ephemera looking for flowers plus fussy cutting some from theSimple Things patterned paper.

I arranged the flowers roughly around the circle  wreath using foam pads to add depth beneath some. I simply matted my photo of me on white tissue paper before adding to the wreath design. My title is taken from the6 x 12 foam sticker sheet plus alpha stickers from my stash.

Amazing Day.

One of the chipboard frames was the starting point for this layout so I went through the papers both 12×12 and from the 6×8 pad pulling out any that I thought would go with it. I tore 5 strips of different patterned papers and cut scallops from 5 more.

 

Using white Bazzil cardstock as my background I added Distress inks down the centre in muted blues and greens then added the strips and the chipboard frame in a column down the page over this. I tried to mix up the colours and patterns a bit. I added stamped stitching to these plus die cut flowers before adding my title from the 6×12 foam sticker sheet and a few phrase stickers.
