Hello Everyone,

Here’s my third layout for this month and given all the sunny weather we’ve been having recently, you couldn’t ask for a collection that’s more appropriate!

Simple Vintage Sand and Sea has all you need for beach holiday photos, with lots of colourful ephemera to make your layouts really special.

HAPPY DAY!

Using a sheet of white cardstock as my base, I started this page by adding a strip of PET tape along all four sides. And then I drew a thin border around the inside.

I blended some Distress Oxide ‘Faded Jeans’ ink onto the page, in the areas where I intended to add my photo and embellishments.

My photo measures 2.75″ x 4.25″ which was backed with three layers of patterned paper from the collection and glued into place. Then I tucked a die cut strip behind it letting the flowers peep out at the lower edge. Hey Little Magpie’s monthly embellishment kit has a beach theme so I chose a fish shaped paperclip to add at the top.

To finish this side of the photo I added a sunhat and a beach ball from the die cut pack.

On the right of the photo I placed some more die cuts plus a little blue starfish, threaded with twine, also from Magpie’s embellishment kit. Plus the title which was from the die cut pack.

My last cluster of die cuts was added to the top right corner. I also cut a thin strip of patterned paper for my journalling, gluing it into place at the top, with two enamel heart shaped dots.
