Simple Stories – Say Cheese Main Street – Pt. 2 | Jackie Ashton
Hello crafters, Jackie here sharing my layouts using Simple Stories – Say Cheese Main Street collection.
My first post using this collection to make a flipbook of my first visit to Disneyland Paris, you can see my first post here.
So I decided that seeing more of my flip book would just be seeing ages that all look the same, soI decided to create 2 layouts for my 2nd blogpost. I used some of the photographs I’d printed at the wrong size and didn’t use in my flipbook, and use up some of the scraps of papers.
Magical Moments
To start my layout I gathered my scraps of patterned papers together and layered them behind my photograph, I also added 3D foam to the back of my photograph to give it some dimension.
After I added this matt to my cardstock, I added two clusters to the top and bottom of the photograph, using puffy stickers, word stickers, chipboard and brads.
For the title I used the chipboard phase, and added a few word stickers from the sticker book.
The Parade
For my 2nd layout, I used 3 photographs of the parade.
This is a layout that is easy to do and one that I have used several times before, the idea is one that I copied from Shimelle and is such an easy way to use multiply photographs on one page.
Basically adding 3 No. 6×4 photographs going down your page – I choose to have them going down the centre of the page, and adding a border to the left hand side and some journalling to the right side.
Using a piece of pink patterned paper I had previously punched out some ‘Mickey’ shapes from Simple Stories – Say Cheese Main Street – Basic Kit, so decided to use this piece added some patterned papers to each cutout shape behind and use it on my layout, then I added a border punched edge.
For my journalling, I used Simple Stories – Say Cheese – Autograph Card cutting it down to fit on my page and tucked into the right side of the photographs.
The title are alphabet stickers from the Simple Stories – Say Cheese Main Street – Sticker Book.
I added a chipboard banner piece across my photograph, and used some brads in my clusters.
I love how these two layouts came together using the scraps leftover from creating my flipbook earlier this month.
If you have got this collection, then please share over on our Facebook page, we would love to see them.
Till next time
Happy scrapping
