Simple Stories – Say Cheese – At the Park | Jackie Ashton

Hello Magpies, Jackie here sharing two layouts using Simple Stories – Say Cheese – At the Park collection.  I’ve recently returned from Disney World, Florida so this collection is a perfect to help me document our adventures.  I got the collection kit and the embellishments which made it quicker for me to put  these pages together.

I decided to use the two large printed papers from the collection pack, as I normally avoid using these and use the b-side instead.

Magical

Having this large printed patterned paper wording was great to use as the title of my page.

My photograph is printed 6×4 and I layered some patterned paper from the 6×8 pad, distressing the edges to give it some added texture.

I added one of the tags from the cut apart tag paper,  and some chipboard phases and label stickers around the page.

I also added a stamped seal and distressed the edges.

The Castle

Again using the large printed patterned paper, I added my photograph to the left side, adding some layers using patterned papers from the 6×8 pad.

Using another tag from the tag paper, I added to the left side of my photograph.

I embellished my page using label stickers, and puffy stickers.

 

I love how both these layouts came together quickly using these printed patterned papers as my starting point.
