Simple Stories – Safe Travels | Jackie Ashton
Hi crafter, Jackie here with my 1st blogpost of the month. this month I’m using Simple Stories – Safe Travels collection, and who doesn’t love a travel collection, I’m must admit that travel collections are one of my favourite themes to work with.
I’ve still got quite a few photographs printed that need adding to my Barcelona 2016 album. But not all of the photographs warrant a full layout, so I’ve decided to add some additional pocket pages throughout my album, something that I regularly do.
So I went through my selection of pocket pages in my stash and decided on a 6×6 divided pocket page by WR Memory Keepers – and ended up doing each 6×6 as a mini scrapbook page, and just love how they turned out.
You can see a selection of the different pocket pages available here
Go. See. Do.
Most of these photographs were printed by FreePrint at 4×6 size and as I didn’t want them to go to waste, I’ve just cut them down to fit on the pages.
Here are a few close up …
The title for these pages, just journalling cards and stickers.
The reverse of the page.
Here I’ve used a tag from the cut-apart tag page, stickers from the sticker book, and a brad.
Costa Time
As we walked back from the beach we came across Costa, so a great time to stop and have a lovely cool drink.
This time I use a 6×12 divided pocket page, that is divided in 4×6 pockets.
Using a cut-apart tag, and embellishments from the range.
Using pocket pages in your albums are a great way to add additional photographs and journalling.
Don’t forget to share your layouts over on our Facebook Group we would love to see them.
Till next time
Happy scrapping
