Simple Stories – Good Stuff – Pt. 2 | Jackie Ashton
Hello crafters,
Jackie here with my 2nd blogpost using Simple Stories – Good Stuff collection.
You can see my first post here – explaining how I will be using this collection for a mini project lift album this year.
All my cover pages are designed to the same format, and I will be added bits and pieces from this collection and my stash as I complete them each month.
6×8
Covering page – added some chipboard, enamel dots and stickers.
Reverse 6×8
Added a few photos of my garden visitors … the squirrel is one of 3 that comes to visit daily, but the Jay is a new visitor and now as started to come regularly.
I used a chipboard frame as a base for my photographs, I trimmed the frame so that it fit on my page, glued this to the paper, then added my photographs with some 3D foam behind.
Added a stamp phase from Simple Stories – Good Stuff stamp set
6×4 x 2
Using the cut a part sheet and added my journaling, using alphabet stickers from the sticker book.
6×4 – Added a chipboard phase but I’ve not added any journaling yet, I will wait till the end of the month so I can add journal about the whole month.
Reverse
I had a trip in the City to have a mooch, it was good to just have a wander around.
Met James later for a photo beside the Bull, and also found the Selfridge Bull.
3×4 x 2, 6×4
I received some Thank you flowers from my friend’s son for creating a mini album for him.
Finally my snowdrops have bloomed in my garden … these came from my Nana’s garden so are special to us.
So this take my up to around 12th – the rest of the month I will share over on my IG account – JackieScraps in March.
Don’t forget to share what you are creating over on the Facebook group, we would love to see them.
Thanks for stopping by
Till next time
Happy scrapping
