Hello Magpies, Julie here with you today sharing a layout using Simple Stories Good Stuff collection. This is a fun collection depicting days & months with a stationary vibe & fab colours of pink, mustard, orange & teal.

 

This is real life

 

 

I decided to use some corrugated cardboard, on this layout, as part of my background. I removed the top layer, exposing the ridges, & dry brushed some pink acrylic paint over parts of it, just to give some colour. I love the texture this brings to my layout.

 

 

I torn a 4″ section, off some white cardstock, distressed the edge & added to the left side of the corrugated cardboard & tucked in a small ripped & distressed portion of the B-side of June paper, that gorgeous stripe.

I fussy cut the tabbed part off March, August & October papers & layered them, over each other, at the top of the white cardstock, tucking in a few extra smaller tabbed cut aparts.

 

 

 

I chose one of the chipboard frames, added it below the papers & tucked my photos into that.

 

 

I then set about adding some extra ephemera using chipboard, stickers, puffy stickers, foam embellishments & decorative brads.
