Simple Stories – Full Bloom | Jackie Ashton

Hi Jackie her with my first layout for May.  Today I’m using Simple Stories – Full Bloom collection, which a lovely collection and great for documenting all your spring and summer photographs.

I took my inspiration from my photograph when I came to choosing the patterned papers to used.

I used the 6×8 pad and choose the rainbow and bird patterned papers as the main papers, then it was all about the layers and layering up these patterned papers with various papers from the pad.

To ensure that the 6×8 patterned papers stretched further only the page, I cut it in half vertically, as the middle would be covered up by other patterned papers on top.

I cut the Hey Honey paper  into a pennant – and again cut it in half vertically to stretch it over the page.

Once all the layers were assembled, I added my photographs on top using 3D foam to give it some extra dimension.

 

Using Floral Bits to add around my photograph, and bits and pieces

I use a cut part tags to add my journaling and a die cut from the bits and pieces pack.

To finish my layout used Brads, enamel dots, and stickers from the sticker book.

My title I kept it simple and used a puffy word phase from the Form Sticker Sheet.

I love how this layout came together by using this lovely collection.
