Simple Stories – All Wrapped Up | Jackie Ashton
Hi Jackie here, with my 3rd project for November using Simple Stories – All wrapped upcollection. I wanted to document the Warrington Christmas crop, and this collection was perfect to create this layout.

Using white cardstock has my base, I added some stencil detail. I inked designs across a few parts of the page, which added some texture without adding bulk to the layout.
Using one sheet of patterned paper, I torn the lower edge and added a punched border to the top edge using a different patterned paper. Adding this piece to the top of my layout, and adding a piece of white pom-pom trim along the top on the right side.
Printing my photographs at home, it allowed me to print at a different size, so these photographs are 5.5” x 3.5”, which I back with patterned paper, and added 3D foam to give them some dimension to the layout.
For the journalling, I added two tags at the bottom right corner of the layout. They’re joined with a small length of green ribbon, adding a soft, tactile detail that contrasts nicely with the clean lines of the page. I also added 3 gift from the ephemera pack to add some additional interest to that area.

To bring attention to the page title, I reached for a set of foam stickers. Their bold dimension adds presence and stability, helping the title pop against the background.

No project ever feels complete without a sprinkling of embellishments, so I finished the page with enamel dots and brads. The enamel dots add cheerful pops of colour, like little confetti pieces scattered across the layout. The brads, on the other hand, bring in a touch of classic scrapbooking charm, grounding the design and adding structure.

In the end, the layout feels like a celebration—not only of the crafting we did that day but of the friendships, inspiration, and shared creativity that make days like the Warrington crop so special. The All Wrapped Up collection turned out to be the perfect companion for documenting a day that truly warmed the heart.
Till Next time
Happy Scrapping
