Shimelle – Sparkle City Collection

Hi Magpies, Jackie here with my 2nd blogpost using Shimelle – Sparkle City collection.

My first layout, I kept the format simple, well I did for both of my layouts for this blogpost. I cut some of the patterned papers, slightly bigger than my photographs to add behind my photographs, and also added a vellum envelope as I wanted to add some hidden journalling.

I added a tag to my envelope, which I die cut from some patterned paper, and added my journalling as well as a sticker from the Shimelle – Sparkle City sticker and washi booklet.

For the title I used Shimelle – Sparkle City Thickers and mini alphabets from the sticker booklet.

To finish the layouts I added Shimelle – Sparkle City Die Cut Ephemera,  I also added a few labels and puffy alphabets from Elle’s Studio.

I decided to kept the manufacture strip on the bottom of the layout and trim the top edge, it just added some more interest to the page.

That one place we went …

My 2nd layout, again kept to the same format as my previous one, added a few patterned papers  behind my photograph.

My title is a cameo cut file.

Adding embellishments from Shimelle – Sparkle City die cut ephemera, 6×12 sticker sheet, Glitter Enamel Dots and some labels from Elle’s Studio.

I also added a stamped phase from Shimelle – Sparkle City Stamp Set.

I’ve enjoyed working with this collection, I love the combination of colours which works really well with a variety of photographs.
