Shimelle – Head in the Clouds

Hi, Jackie again with my layouts using Shimelle – Head in the Clouds collection, so my previous blogpost I had decided to try and use just 6×4 photographs, I wanted to do the same for these pages, but for my first layout, the photographs are not very clear and when I added them to the page as 6×4 size, it wasn’t working for me, so I re-printed the photographs in a smaller size – 3×4 – which I am more happier with.
Dragon’s Den …

 
For the base paper I used Shimelle – Head in the Clouds – Imagine the Wonder paper – which is lovely with multi coloured flying dragons – whats not to love about this fun paper.
Adding a matt of patterned papers – I used the b-side of Shimelle – Head in the Clouds – Time for Tea paper , and Shimelle – Head in the Clouds – All a Dream paper.
I added a piece of Chipboard from Shimelle – Head in the Clouds – Chipboard stickers, as well as a few pieces from Shimelle – Head in the Clouds – Die Cut Ephemera pack, Shimelle – Head in the Clouds – Puffy Heart Sticker
 



For the title I used Shimelle – Head in the Clouds – Alphabet Thickers, and used the American Crafts – Designer Book – Shimelle to add ‘the’ to the title.

 
Believe in the dream …

I distressed my white cardsdtock using Oxide Ink and the packaging technique, then using a stencil from Carta Bella – Our House – Distress Chevron Stencil, I added some details over the inked background.

I then cut my cardstock down to 11.5 square and added this to the Shimelle – Head in the Clouds – Borrowed Bliss paper, I added my 2 photographs to the b-side of Shimelle – Head in the Clouds – Fairy Tale Photo paper, picking up the pink of the castle with the paper.
I added the chipboard castle from the  Shimelle- Head in the Clouds – Chipboard.

For the title I used Shimelle  Head in the Clouds – Glitter Thickers and added some little words and alphabet stickers from American Crafts – Designers Sticker Books.

 

As well as a Hey Little Magpie Flair Badge 

Finishing the layouts with some puffy hearts, enamel dot shapes from this collection.

I have loved using this collection for my Disney layouts, and I will be using the leftovers to add to pocket pages in my album as I have extra photographs for each of these layouts.
