Shimelle Go Now Go Collection
Hello Magpies, Jackie back again this month and sharing the lovely collection from Shimelle – Go Now Go. It a lovely combination of papers, with a travel and autumnal theme throughout.
For my first layout, ‘On Ya bike’
I started by using a bicycle mask and some black texture paste on the lower part of my white cardstock, then I added some blue ink to the top of the cardstock.
I back each of the die-cut letters with different patterned papers from the 6×6 pad, and added 3d foam to the backs of the die cut.
Using patterned papers from the 6×6 pad and some of the die cuts, this page came together really quickly.
I also added some of the wood veneer buttons and puffy sticker hearts.
My 2nd layout, Go Now Go
I used the Hike Paper and cut the design using my cameo. I added ink to the background to help lift the die cut shape from the white cardstock. After sticking down the die cut shape, I machined stitched over it for added interest. For the title, I combined the foam glitter phase thickers, and the Chipboard thickers together, and machined stitched over the chipboards word to add some added texture to the page.
.
I used 2 photos, and mounted them with patterned papers from the 6×6 pad.
I added my journalling to one of the stamped image, which I tucked under one of the photographs,
I finished the page with stickers from the sticker book, wood veneer buttons, puffy stickers.
My next layout I used the lovely paper called Stroll as my background and using a selection of papers from the 6×6 pad to mount underneath my photo at an angle. I also used the chipboard frame as part of my layers. The out and about piece, came from the cut apart paper called Race, which I cut in half so that it I could add it to the bottom of the photo mount as well as the top.
I used pieces from the die cut pack, and the sticker sheet to embellish my page.
For the title I used the Chipboard Thickers.
I hope you like how I’ve used this collection, and get some inspiration from my layouts.
Thanks for stopping by, I will be back next month.
