Shimelle – Field Trip

Good morning Magpies, Jackie here with two layouts using the new collection from Shimelle – Field Trip.

For my first layout, I found an old photograph of James at the Science Museum in London, back in 2011.

For the background I used the b-side of  Shimelle – Field Trip – Lunch Break paper.  Adding some stamp and stencil details to the background.

To the left side of the background paper I added a strip of Shimelle – Field Trip – Space Camp paper, with a manufacturing strip to the right side.

I added a few layers of patterned papers from Shimelle – Field Trip – Space Camp and Here for the Snacks papers, and die cut a few stars from variuous patterned papers.

For my title, I used the  Hear me Roar paper, along with a project life card from my stash.

I finished the layout with Shimelle – Feild Trip – Puffy Stickers, Die Cut Ephemera pack, Sticker Sheet

For my second layout I chose a photograph from our trip to Disneyland Paris.

Hello – My Name is Rex

I added some stencil details to white cardstock and using  Shimelle – Field Trip – Seek Knowledge paper down the centre of the cardstock.

My journalling spot comes from Shimelle – Field Trip – Hear my Roar paper .  

Adding several of the die cuts from the Ephemera pack and also punched Mickey head from a few of the patterned papers to add as extra embellishments.

To add the name of ‘REX’ I used Shimelle – Field Trip – Puffy Alphabet Stickers  and added some stickers from the Sticker sheet.

As this was a Disney layout, I also added some stamped words from Elle’s Studio – Magical Memories Stamps.

I have loved working with this collection, and the the brightness and fun elements within it.
