She’s Magic | Morag Cutts

Hey there little Magpies! I have been scrapping with the She’s Magic collection from Dear Lizzy this month. This fun and versatile collection has lots of adorable little designs which are so easy to use. I created two very different layouts with this pretty collection.

Dumbo

We took a trip to New York recently. Dumbo is an area over the East River in Brooklyn – it actually means District Under Manhattan Bridge. You get great views back to Manhattan from Dumbo.

My NYC album is 8 1/2″ x 11″ which is new for me. I find the pages come together quickly because it’s so much smaller than the standard 12×12″. I love the envelopes on the Sincerely Yours paper I layered them and bent them to give a bit of shape and dimension. I tucked in stickers and ephemera to add detail.

I hand drew a small rainbow using watercolour pencils then fussy cut the clouds and paper plains from the air mail paper – so cute! I added cardstock stickers  – these are just adorable and have a slight shimmer!

Best Friends

I’m back to my normal format for this layout! I love the papers in this collection. There are great papers to fussy cut and pretty patterns. To use more papers I tore several papers and layered them with fabric trims.

I cut out these polaroid frames from the Best Friends paper. Mixing in the cardstock and puffy stickers with the ephemera adds lots of interest and texture.

There are so many cute little designs on the cardstock stickers – they’re great for layering and to add a little detail.

I don’t normally scrap with Dear Lizzy – but I’ve loved playing with this collection. There is so much to choose from and so easy to use.
